Title: Jake Dypka ▲ OnePlus - Titan Role: Freelance Compositor and Rotoscope Artist Description: As a freelance contributor for Agile Films, I had the opportunity to work on the Jake Dypka ▲ OnePlus - Titan project, a collaborative endeavor that harnessed the skills and talents of a larger team. My role involved compositing and rotoscoping, requiring precision and a keen eye for detail. One of the main challenges I faced was dealing with shots that were difficult to track. To overcome this, I had to manually stabilize some of them to ensure accurate tracking. This was a labor-intensive task that demanded a high level of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. To this end, I leveraged the capabilities of Mocha Pro, a top-tier industry tool known for its superior tracking and rotoscoping capabilities. In addition to tracking and rotoscoping, the project also required me to paint out certain artifacts such as visible tripods and lights in some shots. This was particularly challenging in crowded shots that required frame-by-frame attention. Despite the complexity of these tasks, I was able to successfully remove these distractions from the shots, thereby preserving the intended visual experience for the audience. The project was a significant learning experience, one that tested my technical skills and problem-solving abilities. It required me to adapt quickly to challenges and develop effective solutions. The result was a series of polished, seamless shots that contributed to the overall aesthetic and success of the final video. Through my work on this project, I was able to further hone my skills in tracking, rotoscoping, and compositing. It reinforced my ability to work as part of a larger team and underscored the importance of attention to detail in producing high-quality visual content
